DSBS offers need-based and merit-based scholarships to knit together a diverse and talented student community. It also provides scholarships to girls who have demonstrated exemplary skills. Following are the scholarship schemes:

i) Enabling Scholarship:
To encourage meritorious students who may be challenged with financial constraints (represent financially backward) and enable them to pursue education. DSBS would wave of 100% of the fee.

ii) Merit Scholarship
To encourage students with outstanding academic performance. Awarded at the time of admission to the first year of an academic programme. DSBS would wave of 100% of the fee.

• BPL Card Holders

• Boys Hostel

  The college has a boys hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. The hostel is located inside the campus surrounded with lavish gardens, extracurricular facilities such as a gym, Basketball court, Tennis court, Football ground, Volleyball court so on and so forth. The students are housed in an International Hostel which is of a super-premium class. The inmates have been provided with luxurious comforts in their typical rooms settings. Arrangements have been made to separately house boys. A well- organized boarding program is available to students to provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner

  The college has a health center with first aid facility for the students. A hi-tech hospital viz., Sagar Hospital (340 beds)which is located in the campus and doctors are always available round the clock, would help the students to get right and timely medical care and need.

  The college has a library facility for all students. A good library setup not only helps the students to accentuate their academic knowledge and skills but also exposes them to the world of innumerable information to draw upon. The information revolution means that escalating amounts of information are available to you for learning. To study you will use a blend of printed books and journals and electronic materials. With around 250 reader-places and a collection of more than 5,000 volumes of subject-specific books, students have ample opportunity to prepare themselves. In addition, the students have access to more than 50 printed journals, Seminar Video DVD’s 36 & 180 Subjects CDs, online journals and databases.

  The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.
