Overview

Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) is a department under Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS, formerly MRIU- a NAAC-accredited ‘A’ grade institution), which is a deemed-to-be University under Section 3 of the UGC Act (1956). Established in 2009, it is affiliated to NHRDN, FICCI, AIMA, ASSOCHAM, FSIA and MSME. FMS is ranked among the top Management institutes in India by various organisations and ranking bodies such as NIRF-MHRD, NHRDN, TOI, Business India, Business Today and India Today.

FMS MRIIRS offers UG, PG and doctoral-level programmes in the field of Management and Hotel Management and strives to provide quality education to students through the right proportion of industry and academic exposure. This department via MRIIRS offers a number of facilities to its students, some of which are – multimedia-enabled and air-conditioned classrooms, a state-of-the-art library, a fully wi-fi networked campus, a large fleet of buses for transportation within NCR, a well-equipped gymnasium, an open-air theatre, a medical centre, a cafeteria along with food courts, an ATM, a campus shop, a book shop along with world-class sports facilities (lawns, courts and grounds for all outdoor games along with a billiards table, squash facilities, athletic tracks and a shooting range).

In addition to offering a holistic environment, students are encouraged to take up courses through online learning platforms such as the UGC’s SWAYAM for MOOCs. Students may complete these courses and earn credits as a part of the programme. Also, various experiential learning activities, live projects, case studies and guest lectures are organised for the students.

Courses
Scholarship / Loan

University offers various scholarships on the basis of different criteria ‘s given below:
A) Schemes ‘Utkarsh’ and ‘Uttam’ for the candidates on the basis of MRNAT-2020 Score for UG & PG programs:

i) MNART score – 90.00% and above will get 100% Tuition fee waiver in the form of Utkarsh or Uttam

ii) MNART score – 80.00% and above will get 50% Tuition fee waiver in the form of Utkarsh or Uttam
iii) MNART score – 70.00% and above will get 25% Tuition fee waiver in the form of Utkarsh or Uttam

Note:- Scheme ‘Utkarsh’ is for candidates taking Admission within a period from 1st April 2020 to 31st May 2020)
Scheme ‘Uttam’ is for candidates taking Admission within a period from 1st June 2020 to 31st July 2020)

B) Scholarships for UG level programs (except B.Tech. Mechanical Engg. Industry Integrated and BDS Program):

i) 90% and above marks / CGPA in Qualifying exam will be awarded 100% tuition fee waiver
ii) 85% to 89.99% marks / CGPA in Qualifying exam will be awarded 50% tuition fee waiver
iii) 80% to 84.99% marks / CGPA in Qualifying exam will be awarded 25% tuition fee waiver
PG level Programme (other than MDS program) – 80% and above marks / CGPA in Qualifying exam will be awarded 100% tuition fee waiver, 75% to 79.99% marks / CGPA in Qualifying exam will be awarded 50% tuition fee waiver and 70% to 74.99% marks / CGPA in Qualifying exam will be awarded 25% tuition fee waiver.

 

Scholarship for MBA students on the basis of CAT/MAT/CMAT/ATMA-2020 Score/Marks :
80% and above – CAT-2020 Score / Marks – 100% tution fee
75% to 79.99% – CAT-2020 Score / Marks – 50% tution fee
70% to 74.99% – CAT-2020 Score / Marks – 25% tution fee
95% and above – MAT/CMAT/ATMA-2020 Score / Marks – 100% tuition fee
90% to 94.99% – MAT/CMAT/ATMA-2020 Score / Marks – 50% tuition fee
85% to 89.99% – MAT/CMAT/ATMA-2020 Score / Marks – 25% tuition fee

 

Free ship /Scholarships to the Wards of MREI Employee: 25% Tuition fee Waiver (limiting up to maximum of Rs. 12500/ per semester) to First Child only, however, if first child is already getting scholarship on the basis of Merit then this benefit would be passed to second child, if applicable.

Free ship /Scholarships to the Siblings of ManavRachna Student in the same HEI:10% Tuition fee Waiver (limiting up to maximum of Rs. 5000/ per semester) to the Sibling (brother/sister) of Student already enrolled in any of the Programme at HEI of MREI. Only elder one of the siblings would get the said benefit. In case, candidate is eligible for any freeships/ scholarships in either of above stated categories from A to I, he/she shall be getting this benefit over and above to freeship/scholarship of that category with a maximum limit upto 100% Tuition Fee Waiver.

Free ship /Scholarships to the Alumni of Manav Rachna Educational Institution: Student who is an Alumnus of any of the Manav Rachna Educational Institutions (Schools or HEI), eligible for 10% Tuition fee waiver (limiting up to maximum of Rs. Rs. 5000/ per semester) during admission to the programs offered by any of the HEI. In case, candidate is eligible for any freeships/ scholarships in either of above-stated categories from A to I, he/she shall be getting this benefit over and above to freeship/scholarship of that category with a maximum limit upto 100% Tuition Fee Waiver.

• Proof of relationship is to be provided wherever applicable
• For continuity, University Scholarship policy would be applicable from 2nd Semester

Suitable free ship shall be available to high achievers in the field of sports, persons suffering from Thalassaemia Major, sons/daughters of Army Personnel who have been killed in war/ terrorist attack, physically handicapped students etc. on case to case basis.
