UG Program in Jewellery Design specialism pertains to the design of a particular object of personal adornment i.e. jewellery. Students will receive training in the wide array of areas essential to jewellery design today. India has been renowned for jewellery-based craft traditions and techniques, manufacturing as well as exports, however, today, e-commerce is shifting the way Indian’s perceived the value of jewellery. Therefore, under this diploma in jewellery design specialism, students will explore many varieties, aesthetics, forms and techniques of jewellery making from traditional to contemporary, from precious to non-precious from luxury to craft and perhaps innovate new forms of jewellery. Jewellery Design course will also provide students with new skills to leverage technology across design, materials, manufacturing, business, and retail in the world of jewellery.
